The past ten years witnessed the rhythm of youth and passion as well as spectacular achievements of Han Kou University. Keeping pace with the 60 years’ development and 30 years’ reform and opening-up of the country, Han Kou University adheres the fundamental goal of building a university of erudition, practice, self-discipline and innovation, our university has been sticking to the concept of all for students, all for education, and all for quality, and exploring a new way to stabilize schooling scale, optimize the staff, strengthen management, deepen reform, improve quality and to form uniqne features. After these years’ efforts, we have formed a profound cultural background and attained fruitful educating achievements. We have also made tentative attempt on the investment mechanism, operating mechanism and management model in higher education as well as on the reform of educational system, research on teaching methods, and innovation of teaching contents. We have so far found out a way to run the school at a high starting point and in a leap-forward manner.

As educators, we know that to educate is to foster students’ personal and social values and to push the society forward through their future creation. After a decade of hard work, we are now standing at a new historical starting point. To meet the needs of HR power for talents, we devote ourselves to setting up an application-oriented training system, and fostering an open and innovative university culture. This is to bring us a well-received university where teachers are popular, and students are educated to be useful to the society. It is also to be a place for students to acquire the knowledge they need, cultivate their abilities and personalities. Han Kou Univeristy is sure to write a new chapter by realizing educators’ and students’ ideals and values.
